I translated two books of Dr. Gerald Weinberg over the last two years. Fascinating books – I hope they don’t get lost too much in the translation.
Thanks to Dr. Weinberg for answering various questions I raised along the way.

Chinese Translation of Enterprise Software Delivery: Bringing Agility and Efficiency to the Global Software Supply Chain
In late 2012, I got the chance to translate this wonderful book Enterprise Software Delivery: Bringing Agility and Efficiency to the Global Software Supply Chain by Prof. Alan W. Brown into Chinese. Working in the enterprise software industry myself, I find the translation experience much enjoyable and instructive. The book gives a comprehensive treatment on every aspect of modern enterprise solution delivery, giving solid advice backed with valuable real-world cases. I should say, this book would be a must-read for anybody involved in an enterprise software project. As China is witnessing an exploding market for enterprise software incubated by the soaring demand for business innovation, the practices and methodologies introduced in the book are becoming increasingly pertinent to its readers.
I hope this translation could help more Chinese readers to learn from this great book. I would like to thank Prof. Alan Brown for taking the time to answer many questions from me. The editors of China Machine Press, especially Min Guan, Jian Qin and Fuchuan Yang did an excellent job turning the manuscript into the final product and I thank them all for their help.

The Developer’s Code is a delightful read and good insight on the life and work of real programmers. I started translating the book in February this year, and finally it’s in press now and may come to the market next month. I’m especially grateful to Editor Xinxin Yue and General Manager Weidong Wu of Turing Company, who have done so much to polish the translation and always been supportive along the way. An e-book is also available at iTuring website.
拉马丁同学似乎写了很多以 VERS SUR UN ALBUM 之类题目的小诗，不得不佩服人家真能写，出口成章，逮哪儿写哪儿，然后就送人了——也许还自己抄个备份，否则我们现在没准就看不到了。其中有一首是这么写的
VERS SUR UN ALBUM
Sur cette page blanche où mes vers vont éclore,
Qu’un regard quelquefois ramène votre coeur !
De votre vie aussi la page est blanche encore;
Que ne puis-je y graver un seul mot : Le bonheur !
Tes vers jaillissent, les miens coulent :
Dieu leur fit un lit différent ;
Les miens dorment et les tiens roulent
Je suis le lac, toi le torrent !
选自拉马丁《冥想集》(Recueillements poétiques)，应该是作者送给意大利诗人 Giuseppe Regaldi 的作品，不知道是不是即兴之作。小诗很有意思，试译如下
